The spooky season is fast approaching and here is a list of fun day ideas that can be for all the family.
This is my favourite time of year by far and I can't wait to crack out the decorations sit on the ofa and relish in all things spooky but this is not for everyone so here is a couple of ideas of activities that you can do with friends and family.
I love driving to the nearest pumpkin patch and spending a whole day scouring the fields for the perfect pumpkin to carve. It is something that you can do friends and family and I have done every year. Now the weather is turning cooler nothing screams autumn than getting all wrapped up having a well deserved pumpkin spice latte while preparing to hike through a field for the base for your halloween masterpiece.
If you want something a little more adult for the halloween season you could always head out and find your nearest scare maze. I have never done one of these before but I intend to go to my first one this year, I love being scared and walking through a woodland while being chased by an actor trying to murder me is the best way to spend my halloween. Though not really one for the little ones it is a great activity to do with your friends and older family members and is sure to get your heart racing!
For those wanting a much more laid back approach to this time of year then having a good movie night is probably right up your street. You can cater this to all ages making a movie night of some cult classics as well as some of the newer horror movies. You can make spooky themed treats and get a a few decorations up to set the mood. Sounds like the best way to spend some time hiding behind a cushion with friends and family and has been one of my favourite activities to do every year.
So whether it is hiking through muddy fields or being scared stupid there is always a way to embrace the halloween spirit!
