My favourite time of year

The summer days seem so long ago and now that the weather has turned a lot cooler it's time to start getting ready for the winter months.

But first we have what is by far my favourite time of year Autumn!!

I love this time of year it's not too cold that all you want to do is curl up in front of a fire and there is so much to do!!

One of my favourite activities to do is a good old woodland walk. I love the way the trees change colour and create a unique colourful canvas. There is something quite magical about wrapping up in an autumn coat, scarf and boots and walking through the woods with a rainbow backdrop that fills me with such joy!

After you have had your walk in the nice brisk weather you can always reward yourself with the iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte. It has to be one of my favourite seasonal drinks and the amount of coffee I drink at this time of year is ridiculous but totally worth it!

This time of year isn't only spent walking in the woods and drinking copious amounts of coffee, you have Halloween and in the UK bonfire night to look forward to! Though in the UK we don't celebrate Halloween quite like the Americans it is a great time of year nonetheless. Nothing says halloween like pumpkin picking and scare mazes. Afterwards while you have a few days to recover you can head to your nearest bonfire wrapping up all warm, enjoying roast pork sandwiches (or any alternative) and watching a firework display.

This time of year is full of adventure and there is lots going on, I love enjoying this time of year before we get into the full swing of Christmas.
