September favourites

So another month has passed us by at the speed of light and we are now moving towards my favourite time of year! So here is a list of stuff I have been loving throughout September.

Even though summer has only just finished I have found myself gravitating towards my winter and autumn scents in preparation for the time of year.  I have been reaching for my favourite body butter scent from the Body shop, Vanilla Pumpkin. I personally think that this is the best scent that the body shop has ever released, I always find myself favouring scents with vanilla undertones and mixed with a fresh pumpkin scent it is perfect for the upcoming autumn months.

Transitioning into the autumn and winter months has lead to a little change in what I have been reaching for when doing my makeup in the morning. I have found myself favouring my Morphe fall into the frost palette with its mixture of matte and shimmer shadows. I couldn't rave about this product enough as the shades all compliment each other giving you endless combinations and the butter texture of the shadows allow seamless blending giving you such an amazing effect. My new favourite look is a brown smokey eye paired with my Rimmel 24hr Scandaleyes Jumbo liner, This creates an amazing definition on my lash line that just pulls the whole look together and wears really well throughout the day and night which is always a bonus!

With the colder days drawing in at a crazy speed I have found myself really wanting to look after my skin more and more one thing that I have been reaching for in the shower is my Ritual of Ayurveda shower gel. This range has been one of my favourite ranges ever and transports me to a Spa having facial and a hot stone massage. I couldn't rave about this range enough but the shower gel leaves my skin feeling nourished and refreshed which is just what you need in the colder months.

As I have said my skin has been struggling in coping with the change of weather and I have found now that the weather has become more temperamental so has my skin. I have had copious amounts of breakouts and have found my skin looking dull and lifeless. One thing that has helped me tackle this is the Body Shop Tea Tree overnight gel cream. Not only does it smell divine it leaves my skin looking so much healthier and full of life, it has also helped in targeting my dry areas. The consistency is a little strange but otherwise I am in love with this product!!
